This year, I am in charge of Valentines day dinner. I want to make a homemade meal but really gourmet. I’ve been thinking of recipes and new ideas in my head. This is what I was thinking
arugula and fennel salad with a balsamic vinegar dressing
seared scallops with an orange spicy glaze
rack of lamb in a lemon cilantro pesto
blueberry cheesecake
I’m going to make it up as I go but am pretty sure how to put it all together

Boredom January 28, 2009
When Kylie is taking her naps and Jonny is at school. I usually get on the computer and start fiddling around with pictures. I’m not allowed to get up from the couch so its really the only thing to do. I’ve read all the books in the house and we have standard t.v.
Good News! January 27, 2009
My doctor visit went very well!!! I’m not going into preterm labor, and the baby is doing great. We heard a healthy heartbeat and a few kicks. My uterus is sitting really low and is putting pressure on my cervix. I’m not on full bed rest anymore but am suppose to take it easy with my feet up. In a couple of weeks if the pain hasn’t gone away in my back, we are going to look at the option of a physical therapist.
I was panicking when I wrote my last post, I am so grateful for my Heavenly Father who heard our prayers and blessed this little soul inside of me.
Not a very good day January 24, 2009
I haven’t had sleep for a straight 72 hours! I started spotting the other day and its had me so frazzled that I can’t even close my eyes without having a nightmare about miscarrying.
I’m trying to keep a positive attitude but I have this nagging at the back of my mind telling me that I’m going to lose the pregnancy..
Singing Baby January 22, 2009
This morning during breakfast, Kylie was singing from her high chair and every time I would applaud, she would lay her head to one side and giggle.

Bad Rash January 21, 2009
Kylie has been having weird bowels lately. One week she is constipated and the next she has very acid like diarrhea. I found it beneficial to change her diaper every hour. After all my attempts to keep it under control, she ended up with a severe diaper rash anyway. Tonight during bath time (her favorite time of the day) she refused to stick her bum in the water and was crying hard. It was so sad to see her in so much pain. Of course I started to cry and that made Kylie cry even harder. Jonny had to finish up for me while I ran into our bedroom to regain my composure.
After another hour of hard crying, she was finally settled down enough for bed time. Poor baby girl
Utah January 18, 2009
We just got back from Utah and Jonathan will be starting school on Monday. I was just starting to get into the groove of having Jonny around in the mornings and now it will be gone….RATS!
Our mini vacation to Utah went very well. We stayed with siblings and Kylie spent time with her cousins. We are looking around for a good place to purchase a house. Jonathan will be starting school in Salt Lake City sometime in 2010.

hi addy January 9, 2009
With Jonny on Christmas vacation and having him home for the past month, Kylie has become his number one fan.
She follows him around the house saying “hi addy” and constantly is holding onto his leg. In the mornings we hear giggling from her room because she knows that Daddy is coming to rescue her.
A New Year January 6, 2009
The past few days have been crazy in the Ross home. Last Sunday while I was at Church, I miscalculated the bench and sat down really hard on the arm rest. While trying to walk the pain off, I blacked out and hit the ground like a ton of bricks. I had a nasty rug burn on my face that is just now starting to go away and a very very bruised tailbone. New Years Eve I had a temperature of 103.2 and slept right through New Years Day. Jonathans family came into town and we’ve been going back and forth from our house to parents house all weekend.
I am glad to spend time with my sister-in-law and her family, we don’t get to see them very often and the times we are together we always have a blast.
